The 34mm version quartz Camper watch (Ref. T18581 - black & T41711 - olive) was introduce around 1990 subsequent to the legendary mechanical Camper watch which was designed for DoD's military spec became discontinued. Since then, the 2nd generation Camper was produced until around 2017 and represented the Camper watch.
In 2014, we made 3 exclusive editions by applying an unique ivory dial with a red second hand in three 34mm Camper watch - black, olive and navy case & strap. That carefully considered design resulted giving soft touch to the military-base Camper watch and became popular.
While the 34mm camper watch was dominant in the market for decades, we were working on bringing back the original Camper watch because it's truly an icon of TIMEX in modern era. In 2015, finally we could launch the Original Camper watch (Ref. TW2P88400) with a quartz movement by doing a reverse production - scanned the original vintage mechanical Camper watch. Eventually, the 34mm Camper watch eventually discontinued by the revival of the Original Camper watch.
However, you may admit that people love a bit of nostalgy especially once their beloved style/product was discontinued. So we listen to it and again make a special edition featuring that 34mm Camper watch with our exclusive design.
