PAC-MAN is truly a classic arcade game that was first released in 1980, more specifically on May 22nd (Happy Birthday!), and it promptly became one of the most popular video games of all time.
In this 3rd collaboration with PAC-MAN, we mutually designed 4 watches with the PAC-MAN team of Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. in Japan.
Classic square shape case looks a bit of arcade games, so the panel is designed with the maze pattern background. All graphics are in PAC-MAN artwork even including the TIMEX logo which looks like a neon sign.
More the feature which makes this PAC-MAN x TIMEX watch fun and special is, its alarm sound. A catchy tune called the PAC-MAN Intermission Theme rings as an alarm sound unlike an usual beep sound. It is pretty much like the 80s! And, INKY will show up when turning on the Indiglo night light on the background of display.
This PAC-MAN watch also comes with a special-made pouch manufactured by German brand NICI to commemorate this collaboration. By the way, this is the first time ever INKY/ghost turned in a tiger pattern!
