One of the most popular fishing brand which commemorated its 100-year anniversary in 2021 is Abu Garcia. Originally founded as a watch company called HALDA, Abu Garcia is warranted by Swedish Royal family since 1951.
In this collaboration, we partnered with Abu Garcia and merged our heritage in design and some features. Base is the legendary TIMEX 36mm Camper watch plated by bead-blasted finish durable stainless steel case. Matched case-back is very cool because it has the Swedish Royal Warrant crest - oh yes, this is the very first time to have it on TIMEX watches.
Dial design is inspired by actual military watches supplied to Swedish Army in 1950s like railway minutes track and 12 hours markers with a bit of distressed effect. Hour, minute and second hands are painted in Abu Garcia's signature red color.
